Summer is here, and it has certainly spurred our clients and friends to help propel us around the world in record time. We completed the Gym Gair 24 challenge in 19 days, and decided to add in all the countries that were competing in the Euros for a bit of extra steps. We managed to raise close to £5000 for Alzheimer Scotland in the process, and the charity is delighted with our efforts. Our ZE runners contributed significantly to the effort, with 15 of them completing the Simmer Dim Half Marathon on the final day. Well done to Neil Arthur in pipping Karl Simpson to first place, a tremendous effort. We would like to thank everyone who took part in the challenge, it was fantastic to see where our snoods got to all over the world! We even had one at the top of Ben Nevis – now that’s a hike we must do on our holiday next month!
We had a lovely stay at Busta House Hotel to celebrate a 40th birthday… a great time was had by all and we managed to squeeze in a couple of walks around Muckle Roe to blow away the cobwebs! Good for the step count!
