We have been advertising and getting organised for our Gymgair 24 step challenge, to raise some funds for Alzheimer Scotland and get a bit fitter along the way.  We have set the team the ambitious challenge of walking around the world in 24 days, which is 18,000 miles.  We are delighted to be sponsored by following local businesses, L&M Engineering, Zephyr Fishing Company and Simpson Fish.  Thanks to Morwenna Garrick for the fantastic snood design and to Jonny at Art Machine Shetland for the finished graphics, it looks fantastic!  We kick off on Friday 28th May & look forward to seeing where all our steppers takes us!

This month we have done a few of our favourite walks, we enjoyed a brisk hike to the Bay of Deepdale and also a walk around Eshaness.  We have had some great walking weather and hope this continues throughout June for our challenge!
